IFLA Asia Pacific Regional Congress
The 2011 IFLA APR Congress - registered participants were totally counted 240 members from 19 countries. Malaysia (22), China (20), Philippines (10), Japan (9), Indonesia (8), Australia (7), Taiwan (. 5), South Korea (4), Germany (4), Sri Lanka (4), Singapore (4), Egypt (2), Hong Kong (2), New Zealand (2), India (1), Vietnam (1), Mexico. (1), Iran (1), and Thailand (remaining approximately 140 people).
For the Student Charette, there are : Fumiaki Takano as key Tutor/speaker, and 3 Thai Lecturers - Ms.Kanokwalee (Department of Landscape Architecture - Chulalongkorn University), Ms. Pudtarn (Department of Landscape Architecture - Kasetsart University), and Asst. Prof Thiti (School of Architecture - King Mongkut Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang).
There were 38 students of Landscape Architecture, both from the undergraduate and graduate programme - from 6 countries and 11 universities. Another participant came from 22 volunteers student of Chulalongkorn University, Kasetsart University, and the University of Seoul.
The main sponsors of IFLA APR Student Charette 2011 : the former president of IFLA, and the honorary membership of TALA (Thai Association of Landscape Architect Mr.Richard Tan
from Singapore.
